Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • ¾ cup Plain Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 package (500g) String Cheese (12 sticks)
  • 1 cup Marinara or Pizza Sauce, heated

Instructions:

  • Place flour in shallow dish and whisk eggs and water in another shallow dish.
  • Combine bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, salt and garlic powder in third dish.
  • Coat each piece of cheese with flour.
  • Dip in egg mixture, letting excess drip back into bowl and roll in bread crumb mixture to coat.
  • Dip again in egg mixture and roll again in bread crumb mixture. Refrigerate until ready to cook.
  • Place in single layer in Cooking Pot; top with crisping lid. Set temperature to HIGH and time to 10 minutes. Press START/STOP.
  • Turn sticks and repeat cooking until golden brown. Serve with marinara sauce.
