Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen baby carrots
  • 2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
  • 4 cups cooked chicken cubes or pieces
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 500ml water
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup peas
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • 200ml cold milk

Instructions:

  • In your slow cooker add 1 cup frozen baby carrots, 2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes, 4 cups cooked chicken cubes or pieces, 2 cups sliced mushrooms, 3 cups chicken stock, 500ml water, 1 tsp Italian herbs, 1 tsp garlic granules
  • Cook on high for 4 hrs
  • Add 1 cup corn and 1 cup peas
  • And cook on high for another 1 hour
  • Finally add 3 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 200ml cold milk on the warming function for 30 mins
  • Optional: We baked some puff pastry hearts in our oven to get the perfect balance of a soup and a pie!
