Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen baby carrots
- 2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
- 4 cups cooked chicken cubes or pieces
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 500ml water
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 cup corn
- 1 cup peas
- 3 tbsp cornflour
- 200ml cold milk
Instructions:
- In your slow cooker add 1 cup frozen baby carrots, 2 cups peeled and cubed potatoes, 4 cups cooked chicken cubes or pieces, 2 cups sliced mushrooms, 3 cups chicken stock, 500ml water, 1 tsp Italian herbs, 1 tsp garlic granules
- Cook on high for 4 hrs
- Add 1 cup corn and 1 cup peas
- And cook on high for another 1 hour
- Finally add 3 tbsp cornflour dissolved in 200ml cold milk on the warming function for 30 mins
- Optional: We baked some puff pastry hearts in our oven to get the perfect balance of a soup and a pie!
