Ingredients:

  • 700g boiling water
  • 2 tablespoons chai tea leaves
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 4 star anise
  • 110g honey
  • 1 litre whole milk
  • whipped cream (for serving)
  • cinnamon (for serving)

Instructions:

  • Add the boiling water and the chai tea leaves to the Crock-Pot and cook on high for 15 minutes.
  • Add the cinnamon sticks, allspice, cloves, anise, honey and milk.
  • Stir to combine, cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
  • Strain and serve with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.
