Hot Chocolate

An easy recipe for a delicious homemade hot chocolate. Just a handful of ingredients and you’re ready to enjoy on a cold day!

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 cups dark chocolate, chopped
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips (about ½ cup)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions:

  • Add milk, heavy cream, sugar, and cocoa powder to your Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
  • Whisk together until all ingredients are combined.
  • Add dark chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, until desired consistency is reached. Whisk every 1 to 2 hours to ensure chocolate doesn’t burn.
  • Once finished, whisk in vanilla extract, serve, and enjoy!
